Macaws have become a symbol of Caracas and a relief for their inhabitants, as the sun comes down, suddenly you can hear them from the distance as if it were an eternal spring, beautiful macaws flying under the perfect and warm skies of the city.

People wait for them on their balconies and rooftops, making sounds with improvised maracas to attract them, they are welcomed with fruits and seeds as if they were small goddesses, for hundreds around the city, this is an expected daily visit that will alleviate the daily struggle of living in Caracas and for other, they are some kind of therapeutic animal, in either case, they are Caracas' beloved invaders.
